Dear Crab families,

What a Club Year we have had! Thank you to all the coaches, players and their parents for an amazing run. As we catch our breath and look forward to some down time we have some highlights to share:

2020: Runner-Ups NLF Main Event! Beat Team 91 Crush in the semifinals. 91 Crush is a monster team and that win was huge for our guys who have banged heads with them for years! The 2020’s had a great Crabfeast beating FCA and Leading Edge on the way to a Championship! They finished thier club run 4-1 at the Nationals with big wins over Legends West and the NH Tomahawks. 3 boys made the Top 50 round of Team USA U19 tryouts (Defenseman Max Cooney (UNC) Jackson Bonitz (NAVY) and Middie Dane Swanson (NAVY) and Jackson Bonitz has moved to round of 32!  AS OF TODAY 20 of our guys are committed to play college lacrosse! Congratulations on a great club year and good luck as seniors leading your teams next spring!

2021: The team suffered early pool loses in the NLF Main Event and Club Nationals as well as the Crabfeast events before finishing strong in the consolation rounds. The blending of players who played a lot, a little and no Varsity this spring is always a challenge in the summer after the sophomore year. However, many of the nations top coaches were visible on our sidelines tournament after tournament this summer. September will be exciting!

2022: The team was a goal away from placing in the NLF Main Event and made it to the Semi Finals of the Crabfeast before losing to the eventual Champion 3D NE. At Nationals this last weekend they finished 4-1 after qualifying for the playoffs winning their pool. Many of our freshman made their Varsity teams this spring and we know they will continue to be forces as they grow and mature.

2023: Played in 5 main events and made it to the Championship in all 5 winning two events the Hoco 2023 Elite Championships and YounGunz Tournament. Runner-ups at the NLF Main Event, Crabfeast, and NLF Nationals. The team compiled a 32-4 spring and summer record while also avenging all 4 losses! Star attackman Chris Matia played up on Culver Academy’s varsity team at Haverford tourney where he made the tourney All Star team!

2024: The team went 3-1 in NLF Main Event with a great win over Laxachusetts Black! At HHH the boys made it to the Semi Finals and finished in the finals at YoungGunz!  The Club Nationals were tough sledding but Coach Kaestner just keeps on developing this group whose future is bright!

2025: Hoco '25 AAA Champions. NLF Main event and HHH were a challenge facing some of the nations top teams. However the boys bounced back and won championships in NJ at  the Garden State Tourney and made the finals of YoungGunz with a nice win over 3D Upstate in its Semi Finals.

2026: Beachlax Runner-Up! The boys had a good run before falling to a Colorado all star group in the finals. Champions at Summer Exposure and the Garden State made the middle schedule hot! YounGunz was a little tougher beating one of the toughest teams in the event Mesa 8-7 before finishing 2-3. These boys scrapped all spring and summer and played some very good defense! Bright future for these rising 6th graders!

2027: Beachlax Champions! The boys followed their playoff finish in HOCO with a ‘ship at the beach! Summer Exposure runner ups and YounGunz Semi Finalists! The boys took on all comers and gave it there all. Fantastic summer for these little guys!

2028: Made the HOCO playoffs . “Right there” in a lot of games this summer. LaxSplash, Summer Exposure and YounGunz performances that had the team hovering around .500. Boys got better and better!

As you can see it was a great run for our teams and we look forward to seeing continued development at all levels. Our middle school boys are gaining the right foundation for early play when the move into their high schools and our high school athletes drawing the attention of the nations finest colleges and universities. Our coaching, culture and commitment to development is second to none in the area.

Congratulations on a great club year!

Sincerely,

Ryan D McClernan
